Default Gear shifter peg repair?

Hi, I dropped the bike and the gear shifter peg snapped off from the main lever, as it is meant to do ,I guess. Did I see on here somewhere that someone provides replacements that can be bolted on after the old bit has been drilled out ?

I drilled a hole tapped it and then used a spare bolt.

My bolt bodge was meant to be a temporary fix but worked as well as the original so I left it. I even had the rubber attached.

Just remember when you remove it to put it back on the right way round. Unless of course you want race gearing (1 up 5 down.)

I can also confirm the bolt repair works a treat having had it on the bike for approx. 17k miles.
