Default K7S to N conversion - handlebar options?

So ive had me S to N finished or about 4 months , with straight bars.

Its an aggressive riding position, and i feel that i have lost alot of cornering confidence since doing the conversion - would more traditional up + back bars change the feeling that much ?

If it is tipping in too quick yes bars further back will help, if the other way , try putting the yoke slightly lower on the forks

I used lay back rises and a swept back bar on my bike which gives a neutral and confident feel on the bars. A dead straight bar does not allow the natural curvature of the wrist to rest comfortably and this could be your problem.

When you say straight bars, do you mean Renthal "Superbike Flat"/"Street Fighter" bars or similar?

If this is the case I'm assuming its a fast turn in rather than slow. Slightly raked back bars potentially shorter and higher will reduce the speed of turn in and may help your confidence.

Having the slight bend in them the renthal flat bars (mentioned above) don't have the wrist problem, but do take some getting used to especially if you are coming from clip-ons. The added length whilst still being low provide a longer moment thus faster turn in.
