BMW K1200r for sale...hopefully now with images

As per previous post selling a 2006 BMW K1200r in good condition with 6300 miles.

They're a hard sell you would get that as trade-in maybe? good luck, you tried ebay etc?

Thought it would have appealed to someone as they're great fun. Testing a s1000r at the weekend so will see what they offer for a trade but would rather it went to someone who was going to get a big grin out of it.

If anyone is considering this bike let me warn you ......... it's stupidly quick. Not just quick for a bike but just bonkers quick. Unfortunately I've got the wrong length arms for it but if you want something that goes like a scalded cat, corners like it's on rails and stops in a way that has you peeling your eyeballs off your visor then this is the bike for you.

I was concerned that
a) That funny front end gets all sort of reviews saying it's hard to turn
b) It's so long it'll be like manoeuvring a super-tanker
c) It's a BMW so will be dull.

However that funny front end means it tracks beautifully even if you try to upset it mid-corner it just gets on with it and it was no harder to turn in than my SV.

The weight and length disappears as soon as you get over 5 mph. Bit long to do a 3-point turn if, for example, you were to get lost in the back streets of Guildford a few times but when riding it does not feel big.

Well yes, it is a BMW, but not that sort of BMW. Oh and it's very yellow which is more an observation than a review point.

In summary if you want to go from A-B promptly via some wigglage then well worth considering this.
