Default bad battery?

ok well i got my bike fixed a few weeks ago it started to cut out on my way to get it looked at and then when finally there wouldn't start atall..
they said they went over the wires cleaned and made sure they were tight and removed the alarm. and they finally got it to start. but now the battery seems to be dying.. sometimes ill get up and the bike will struggle to start.. slow cranking, dash going on and off all the signs of a dying battery im sure? but will randomly decide to start perfectly a few minutes later.. i charged the battery on a charger and then when it said it was full tried again started all fine perfect.. a week later the bike is starting badly again asif the battery has drained in a week.... its a newish battery what could be draining it so fast ?

novice at bikes by the way

Almost 100% sure it sounds like a R/R or alternator/generator/stator problem.

I have been through these problems, only got 4 days between wall charging for a few weeks until I fixed it.

follow the guide and report back

Has anyone disconnected and looked inside the ignition barrel to loom Green connector yet?
If it comes back working ok in a couple of minutes then it sounds more like an intermittent resistive / sometimes opencircuit connection to me.
Lots of threads on the 'Green connector' if you do a search.

hey again.. so this is strange the battery is fully charged according to my charger (nitro1000) so the problem must be something else?... starter? green plug? solenoid? no clue guess the garage it wil have to go

Worth noting that a charger can show a dud battery as apparently fully charged but the battery still isn't up to the job of providing sufficient juice to start the bike. I believe this is due to the battery plates losing the ability to hold/use the charge but Google may help with a proper explanation. If you can I'd be tempted to try a battery that you definitely know is good before looking at the other things suggested above.

this is exactly what happens when i try and start it. see what happens is, one minute it will start straight away, first time, no problems. the next day, it will crank slow, when it tries to start ill hear a knock, or it will just die. this all while the dash slowly fades out and back in.. but usually holding it for 5 seconds will start it but it will sound like a struggle.. and after it starts ill turn off the engine and try again and it usually fires up easily.

ok battery is getting swapped today.. they tested the battery all came back fine according to my mechanic but just incase he tried to boost it and it started perfect so he is going to swap it out since the battery is under warranty hopefully this sorts the problem
