Default Pointy slow to start?

Hi there, got knocked off the pointy a while back nothing too bad but the bike went over on the clutch side. Since then when starting I'll hold the clutch and when pressing the ignition it seems to take a while before anything happens. Sometimes it can be quite a long time with nothing happening, no spark no nothing.

I've cleaned the contacts by the clutch and ignition but it hasn't helped, If anyone could shed a little light on it I would be most grateful!

Cheers

Ben

I assume you mean when you pull the clutch in and press the starter it often doesn't turn over at all. If so my first guess would be the bike went over in the left, the clutch lever, clutch perch, or clutch switch have either moved or been slightly bent. Sometimes the lever can seem ok but not quite close the switch so the safety cut out won't let the motor turn over.

Thanks, that's exactly what I mean. Seems to be getting slower to start too. I've got a set of aftermarket levers on ill swap back to the original and see if it makes a difference.
