Flashing fuel light. Curvy 02 - SV650.org

Fuel light flashing with a full tank... Anyone suffered the same ? Expensive fix or just unplug a socket. Thanks ...

Dont know why you have posted this twice...

You probably need a new fuel level sender, or the wire is damaged, lift the tank and inspect the cable/connector

Disconnect the sender connector, if the problem goes way the sender is faulty. If not check the wiring carefully, if there is insulation damage the problem you've got is possible. If nothing found there, then disconnect the instruments, and pull only the relevant wires from the block and refit the connector (you'll have to improvise a tool to remove the terminals from the block) if the fault stays the clocks are faulty.
