Default engine noise

Hello all I have an issue but its on my quad bike. If I put it in gear I have to rev the nuts out of it to get it to move. Also engine shut off I put her in any gear clutch in and it clunks like mad when moving. Any ideas please where to start thanks all for your help

That isn't making a lot of sense to me to be honest, can you expand it a bit please?

Ok when I start the engine and select first. I have to rev it big time to get it in motion...when I do move I hear a clunking from engine...

When the engine is off I select first gear and pull the clutch to move the bike and i he's the clunking again its a constant tap tap tap. Hope this is better lol

If you rev it normally and let the clutch out gently, what happens, it stalls?

Sounds like busted clutch - if it's making noise with engine off, in gear, clutch in, also... this could mean that the engine is still partly engaged, so clutch not doing its job.

When you rev it hard with engine on, 1st gear, and clutch in, does it feel like the bike wants to move (like the clutch is partly engaged)?

Does it not already have oil in the engine?

When trying to pull away in first, it's like gearbox is seized unless you rev the nuts off it and then it will slowly move, or unless you select another gear then there is no clunking till I hit 4th gear then its a constant clunking
