Default was about to bleed the back brake

changing brake fluid on a pointy naked k8

looking at it, the rear fairings have to come off as well? to be able to remove the cover to the master cylinder. what a pain if so?!

just the small black triangle you then undo the bolt that connects the metal bar to the frame then you can unscrew the cap.

the bolt to the frame so you take the MC and the bar together off. if you take just the MC off then you run the risk of breaking the MC.

yes just leave it loose, its not to bad and stays in place pretty well. just make sure you have a damp/wet rag under it.

Thanks Bibio. The screw heads look pretty corroded so will probably order some stainless cap head replacements (hex) before going ahead. Thanks for answering my questions as always... don't suppose you know the diameter of the screws? Is there a resource which lists all this?
