Hello,

After doing a search and spending nigh on 1 1/2 hrs (465 posts) i am hoping somebody can assist, I have a 2001 curvy and am hoping to fit my oem suzuki lowers tommorow night, I have a fitting kit but no instructions so am hoping somebody might be able to post pictures or some detail as to where the brackets mount to the frame and what problems i may encounter.

Can't get them to you that soon as they aren't scanned but I can photocopy them and post the old fashioned way tomorrow morning if that's any good to you.

If you still need the pictures I'll take a few snaps.
If it ever stops chuffing raining.

I'll do what I can to get them copied (not at work for the next six weeks!) and get then off to you. They are a basic 'put together by numbers' set of instructions using simple line drawings but they are accurate and give a measuring guide for all the pieces in the fitting kit so you can be sure what goes where. The best way I found of getting everything lined up was to fit the brackets tight enough that they stay in place but so they can be rotated slightly to line up with the holes in the plastics. Then take the lowers off and finish tightening them all up. The last thing to join is the two halves underneath.
Got your PM and I'll let you know when they are on the way.

Having same problem finding instructions can anyone help? Got most of it fitted but it doesnt seem aligned correctly. I think I may also be missing some of the fittings. Mine is also a curvy, 2000 model, oem lower fairings.

I do have a mounting bar but the rear lower holes dont seem to line up & I cant find a bokt hole for the upper rear holes of the lower fairings.

Cheers!

I have a photocopied set of original instructions that I can post/fax to you.
None of the holes in the fairings directly fix to any existing bolts, they all need a bracket to span a ga,p so you'll need a full set. It's really not a hard job once you've got all the bits.

Rich faxed me the same last week, I can scan the tomorrow and post the PDF on here. Very informative as they have all the fixing types and sizes etc. I haven't got my lowers back from paint yet but shouldn't be long now.

Thank you chaps, that is most helpful. I have emailed the company who made the fairings and asked if they still sell the fitting kits as I think I am missing some bits. Basically I have the fairings, and the long bar that attaches to the radiator mount but other than that only a few screws.
