Juat took the sv up the garage for its birthday. He said the head bearing is notchy and needs doing. I said ok its my baby so how much £140 fitted. I asked if it needs re motting and he said no its fine as its booked in for the work. Now the paperwork done before he told me this shows a pass and it says slightly notchy i cant say i no any difference so cant tell if its notchy or not iv had it as long as iv had my pink slip. I think £140 is a good price for parts and labour - unless you've got a decent bike lift, or some way of supporting the whole front end of the bike for a couple of hours while you drop the wheel and forks out and remove the yokes, it isn't the sort of thing you can do at home.
