Re: Curvey rear shock upgrade ! .?.?
If you're talking about a cheap shock then follow this guide for zx636 shock
http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...+fitting+curvy For a hassle free swap and depending on your budget Hagon,YSS, Maxton, Ohlins without the piggyback reservior and no need to cut the battery box. I've got a Hagon on mine, nothing fancy, but its miles better than stock http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-SV-...MAAOSw~gRVlV2K

Thanks maviczap . Think a 05 on zx shock would be the beat bet ? I use to own a 04 plate b1h years back and always thought the suspension was very hard . Cheap is better a £300 rear shock would double the value of my bike .haha

Re: Curvey rear shock upgrade ! .?.?
go here http://racetech.com/ChooseVehicle.aspx
click street on the left hand side of the list. click the dropdown lists till you find your bike. click the 'calculate spring rates and display available results' that is in yellow text. type in your nekid weight in lb or kg. leave the rest of the boxes alone then press the 'calculate spring rate' button. it will then tell you what spring rates you need for your bike. working from the recommended spring rates you can work out what rear shock you need from this chart http://forums.sv650.org/showpost.php...42&postcount=9 |
