Default Michelin Pilot Powers 170/55 or 60/17???

Hi guys,

Anyone know what size tyres you can get on a sv650

I have been using metzler m1's which i have to say have been crap. The front has lasted fine for wear and tear but the back wears down so fast its unbelievable. the one on the bike now has been on for 3 months in which ive done under 750 miles.

Another point ive found is that they are very bad keeping grip when accelerating out the courners, the back jumps and skids trying to grip the grey stuff.

Anyway thats my grumble over,

so i wanna try some Michelin Pilot Powers.

Does anyone know what sizes the sv650s k1 rims will take

I wanted to get at least 170's on the back, get my courners a bit slower, maybe a 55 for height?? what u guys n gals think?

also has anyone used the pilot powers? if so what did u wreckon to life span??

Cheers

Ben
