Joe,
As you know, I've owned the "product one" in the passed. Whilst it's an excellent bike, it does lack top end wise. Although it has a bit more grunt in the mid range than the SV, spares are cheap and plentiful to come byfor the SV, and overall the SV comes out on top. Personally, I'd go for a Classic shaped SV, and wouldn't discount the naked either. Cheers Mark.

Joe - you're missing that crucial option - buy a Monster and show Andy how to properly trash the cans!

Rock on that man!!
For anyone that wasn't there, you missed a treat! Seeing Joe hurtle round Llandow at such a rate on such a small bike was hilarious - it was later (in the pub) likened to a Gorilla riding a Monkey Bike!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I reckon the 750 engine idea sounds like fun but you'll surely have to do something with the brakes and forks as well? The easier option would be an SV... You'd probably look cool & go well on a K3 (although I reckon you'll go well on anything - even the c90!) - the K4 might be more comfortable for you as I noticed after sitting on Leigh's yesterday that it's quite a lot more relaxed & spacious so more comfortable for us taller types! Also, I promised I'd let you know how fast I was going down that back straight to be able to pull away from you... 115mph! Not bad for you to be able to keep up so well then, I suppose!! |
