I've been using this one for about 500 miles now, and I've got kind of mixed opinions. It's incredibly light compared to the HJC, and the finish and construction is perfect... The visor mechanism is funky, and it's extremely comfortable...
It's a bit noisier than the HJC as well, but not too bad... But what sucks is the venting... There's lots of it, and it works pretty well, but it's so fiddly! The open/close levers are tiny, the demisting setting is an absolute bugger to use when wearing gloves (I managed to lock my visor down, and had to stop and take the lid off to sort it out. Would it have been so terrible to just have a traditional ratchety thing on the visor so you could have it open to varying degrees? It's a fantastic lid, and it has the Arai name on ![]()
