Some months ago I made TPS regulation (the same way as Bloombest posted). The result has been a little difference obtaining a smoother SV. However, I remember when I was regulating TPS I found a position that seemed to be much smoother then the "official" one.
That time I was afraid to play too much with it, so I didn't care and decide to set TPS the "right" way. The smoothest position was showing the displayed horizontal bar in the BOTTOM position when idling, moving to the CENTER position when giving gas. The correct regulation should show the bar in CENTER position when idling, going to TOP when opening gas.
So:
1) does anyone know what the meaning of the bar position when regulating TPS?
2) is it possible to damage the engine by experimenting with it...?
