Default Lazey Parker...

Does anyone know of a lazey parker or similar device for use with an sK4 on a side stand? I do not have a center stand and dont particularly want to fit one; but I do need to turn the bike around in a small space and it is becoming a pain at the moment!

Any suggestions for turning a bike around on a lawn without churning it up...the missus is about to kill me 'coz the lawn looks a mess with my turning the bike on it to get it into the shed!

There is a trick you can do where you pivot the bike on the side stand.
It's not easy, and you'd need a firm surface to pivot on (a decent sized plank of wood would probably do it if you could rely on it not to slip)
It's not something I ever try, I'm too scared of dropping the thing.

Default As per

Get a 1/4 metal plate the size of a saucepan lid with an indent in the centre Place this under your side stand with the stand in the indent, grab the bike from the stand side, pull it towards you and pivot Keep the indent smeared with oil/grease BUT make sure you wipe it off the base of your centre stand before you use it later
If you are still marking the lawn move to a slightly different spot
Alternatively carry on as you are but learn to run, duck and weave

You could tarmac over the lawn, no more marks then, and a nice place to park the bike

Hi JW,

How small is the space?

You can with practice get the bike 90 deg in garage if you back it in. I used to have mine against the back wall, so I could get the car in as well. Is it a really tight space?
