Bloody Hein Gericke...
My missus has been phoning the two local Hein Gericke branches nearest to me (Darlington & York,) to try & sort out the oil, oil filter & air filter for my bike... Neither of the above two stores had any listings for the oil filter for the K3+ bikes, only the 'curvy ones'
 My missus was also told, if they don't have a listing for the filter required, then it is unlikely that she could buy them as part of the £24.50 deal  WTF is that all about  I've e-mailed them & I'm waiting for a reply... Has anyone else had the 'Power Deal' from HG for the K3+ bikes If so, do they know which oil filter they bought

It's the same filter for both models, isn't it! I've just fitted a Champion 301 filter to my K3, the same as I've fitted to previous models!

Halfords sell the filters, or call demontweeks and get the K&N oil filter.

its basically from original listings and the filters that can be made generic to fit a handful of bikes (someone wont make a pattern part for all the filters as its not cost effective to buy thousands of filters to fit just the one bike). Also the listings not been updated in a long long time. Which to joe bloggs is about as useful as a chocolate teapot! (no-one mention the website) sorry guys. Mark |

Lets try and put things right
The oil filters are the same, as K&N have the same order code for their "preformance" oil filter. However their performance air filters are on DIFFERENT order codes. As it happens I work for Hein Gericke. You are intitled to one free air filter and one free oil filter. So take the older shape air filter and see if it will do the job. If it doesnt then not to worry too much as you have not paid for it!
