Default Is this worth having - Knox Back Protector

Even though it's 2nd hand ?

Don't know how you lot feel about "Used" gear specially protective clothing?

Any commetns welcome - but for 25 quid is it

Might be OK so long as it hasn't been down the road.



I wouldn't though. Better off with a new "Stowaway" or "Ricochet" :thumbsup"

See I reckon it'd be alright. It's advertised as being in very good condition and there's really nothing that can go wrong with it (unlike a helmet) apart from a strap being duff.

Either way it's one of the most important safety aids you can buy IMHO and I had already bought mine before the SV!

Some knox ones can be different sizes as well, so best to try before ya buy

Oooh, wouldn't it be nice to wander into your local bike shop, try on some new leathers, boots, gloves, lids'n'back protectors and just buy the ones u want?....

That'll be my pink fuzzy fantasy for today...

I have a Knox back protector bought from ebay... but it was new. Try one on at your local daelership, but I think if you're over 5'10 you need the large version.

They take a while to get used to, but do offer so much more protection.

£25........... Cheaper than a new spine!

Check out latest issue of RiDE, they test all the back protectors. The best one slips my mind for the mo.......
