Default CAT D write off

As most of you know my bike was written off a few weeks ago. I've repaired all the bits and it's ready to go back on the road.

Do i have to reregister it/ tell the DVLA or anything like that?

anyone got any tips/pointers?

Cheers
Dan

I believe Cat D & C can just go back on, as they are cosmetic,
Class A cannot ever go back on the road,
Class B must be reassessed. If in doubt phone your insurers / DVLA

it will also be registered with HPI and DVLA as a Cat D so any future buyer will know, not that I am suggesting you would conceal the fact.

Did you get your V5 back from the insurance co? If not, you'll need to get another one for £19 . You can do it over the phone by calling DVLA + credit card.
Will.

Glad to hear you've got it back on the road. Hopefully it didn't cost too much to do.
