Fave roads in Kent

What is your favourite short ride-out? Maybe some of us who are a bit newer to the SV scene( ) could benefit from trying out new roads...

J get yourself down to Camber and take the road which leads onto Lydd. I think road is Lydd rd and then go's strait onto Jury's Gap Rd. Its an absolute corker.

Good call. I rode down to Lydd last week to fly my mate's plane. The last few miles are top fun

A227 from Borough Green - Tonbridge
A264 East Grinstead - Tunbridge wells
A267 Tunbridge Wells - Horam(Wessons cafe)
Then theres the b roads
B2042 (just outside river head on the A25) - Eden bridge
B2026 Weterham to Edenbridge
B2028 - Edenbridge to Haywards heath
A272 Five ashes(A267) - End (A31)

That should keep you amused. Get a copy of the Surrey/East/West Sussex A-Z map. Its the only one you will need for the best roads in the south

ALL the roads round romney marsh are good. The A259 is ok except theyve made it a 40 limit most of the way down dymchurch. The back roads across the marsh are incredible fun... use them when I go see my mum...

the A28 is a pretty good road, both sides of Ashford. Its a good run down the A28 to link up with the road to rye which is always nice on a sunday morning. Equally the A28 up to Margates pretty good road too.

Road between t/wells and east Grinstead is tops!! I spent the first 6 months of my biking life ****ing that up royally but getting better by the day. Dodgy surface in areas but great corners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
