Default choices, choices???

This question may have been asked before but......I'm looking at getting new front and rear tyres (a recent spill has made up my mind pretty quick!) and narrowed it down to Bridgestone 020's (is there much benefit in using 010 on front?) and metzler roadtec z6...just cant make mind up ....help?

Don't rule out the Continental Road Attacks. The 020s while a great tyre in their day are no longer at the cutting edge (and I truly wouldn't bother with an 010 on the front) whilst the Z6s are excellent by all accounts and offer the highest mileage but possibly not quite as good overall as the Road Attacks. However you certainly wouldn't have made a mistake buying any of them.

I used to run 020's front and rear, I have changed to an 010 front with an 020 rear

For me, the 010 gives better front end grip and it for me give better feel. I had a small chicken strip on my front 020 and my front 010 doesnt have any. I feel more confident with the 010 on the front and thats what is more important than anything else for me

Like Jonboy says they are more modern tyres now, have read through this section and see what you think about Continentals and Metzler Z6's as these both seem to get rave reviews and I think are cheaper than the Bridgestones

Evening.
AS Jonboy says, try the Road Attacks! I've yet to have a complaint about them, when it comes to grip versus mileage!

Cheers.

P.S. I do them at VERY nice prices fitted!
