Default DIY oil change

Do I need to replace the oil seal washer on the sump when I change the oil on my bike, I know they say always best to but where do you get them from if you want to replace.

Also know that it may not need doing but would prefer to for the cost of a washer,

Cheers

I haven't replaced it. Not had any oil leaks in the last 11k miles.

Agree with carsick. Changed mine 3 times now and still on the same washer.

It is a "crush" washer (doesn't start out flat) so you should replace it every oil change.

. . but then again who does?

I replace mine every other oil change, there only a few pence from the local Suzuki dealer.

As above. I have done 3 or 4 services and replaced it once. I'm not cheap, just forgot to buy one. No leaks so far.

I've done 24k and close to a dozen oil changes and am still on the same one.
