Default NIP - need advice

Folks

the missus has got a NIP on the M25 roadworks section J13, but I'm confused at the wording of the NIP

quote

alleged offence of EXCESS SPEED (40MPH LIMIT) of 50MPH on ....

so does that mean she was doing 50MPH or 90MPH?

silly girl, getting caught speeding, its not like they hide the cameras or anything.

Id say she a very naughty girl. Yeah 50 in a 40, 10mph over the top, £60 fixed penalty and 3 points. No big deal in this day and age

I always stick to limits in Motorway roadworks as they always seem to have live cameras there.

That section of the M25 is horrendous. There are at least 5 cameras in each direction.

GLadly they have removed the notorious M3 one - which was hidden behind a sign and was well cheeky.

I got flashed there too last year at two in the morning.I had stupidly assumed it was the usual 50 limit for roadworks.Even that seemed ludicrously slow at that time of night with no work going on and barely another car in sight.I spent two weeks worrying about it and was lucky to here nothing more
