Default Anyone got an Aerostitch Roadcrafter suit?

With the dollar/pound exchange rate as it is I am really tempted to finally buy a Roadcrafter suit.

Anyone out there got any advice on colours, fit and delivery?

Having checked the thread on 'import duty' in biking issues might need a rethink on having it sent to me.

Ah-ha!! Another local person!

Will have to start posting more things on the site as there are several of us in Eastbourne who go out for rides regularly, as well as the odd drink or two!!!

I've had a roadcrafter for about 8+ years, 50k miles. Very tough well build bit of kit. It was in a league of its own at the time but there is a lot more choice out there now. Pro : very very quick to don / doff easy to wear over normal clothes, even evening dress good crash ability and protection, exellent touring outfit, even in summer as u can wear shorts and tee underneath and slip the suit off in seconds when u stop. A great 3 season suit, not warm enough for our winters, I can't fit enough layers underneath mine when it gets really cold. Cons: expensive esp when imprt duty is slapped ontop. Not 100% water proof, v slight leak on thigh seam in torrential rain on my naked SV not a problem on faired bikes. I now wear an Akito (!!) pytho jacket and leather jeans in the winter, the akito is suprisingly good, never leaked and is warm and v cheap at 25quid second hand.
The quick change ability of the 'stich is its ace card, if this is not really important to you I'd look at hein gerike or rukka gear IMHO.
