Default HJC HQ-1

Im getting a new lid for xmas, i had pretty much decided on an AGV GP Pro which is cool, but I've just seen HJC do a full carbon lid for the same price the HQ-1, anybody seen one / got one / offer any advice

Cheers

Might be a bit late here Marshal but if it's any help I bought an HJC AC-11 and I love it.

Was only £110 and the fit and feel is every bit as good as my old Shoei. The venting system is excellent, the anti-fog visor works, the visor mechanism is simple and the graphic quality is top notch

Certainly after having the HJC I seriously doubt I'll ever be paying £500 for a helmet when they are this good.

How's it working out? I'm rather tempted, the lining in my Arai's gone south and since it's the cheapie (Condor) it's not realistically replacable. I don't like carbon fibre on bikes, but on helmets I'll make an exception

ive not really used it tbh, its REALLY light, fits beautifully, and doesnt mist up, but doesn't sort of keeping it for when im out on the SV, which isn't back on the road from winter service yet. I have worn it a few times, all i can criticize it for is the wind noise, its quite loud.
