US Dealers

I was just reading the thread about SV650S K6 and whilst browsing the US site and in particular the accessories the lower fairing kit for the K5 is around 120 quid cheaper than the UK.

This may be a silly question but are they the same spec.
Have not worked out import tax, it may not be worth it.

Has anyone bought acccesories from other countries, and what are your experiences if any Cheers

i also use a site called the sportbike network in america,i was saying in the forums how i got a great deal on my new k3 at £3771 but it works out that the yanks pay about 600-700 quid less for there sv's <thats what it is when you change it from the USD.

You will unless you can get away with it, get charged 17.5% Vat on the purchase, then add shipping. Not much difference considering most dealers here will do a deal on a set.

Also remember their bike prices over there will be Vat free too!.
