My hair is all over the place, im baking hot, feeling quite tired and i feel quite relieved.
there r 2 possible reasons for this: 1: theres a mini wiltshire7 on the way, or 2: ive been out for a blast!!!! im afraid its the 2nd one, but im not too disapointed! i went out for a ride by myself today to get to know my bike better and do some exploring, had a great ride! everything was just going so easy so i thought id once again try and get my knee down. well after trying on a few round abouts for a while i decided it just wasnt gonna happen, my leg was hurting from being stretched so far and i felt uncomfortable! (much like having sex). so i decided to change the way i was going about it. up to this point i was just trying to stick my leg out further and further while leaning the bike over. now i decided to forget about my leg and just try to see how far i could lean the bike while staying in a more normal position. The bike went over alot further which i guess was because i wasnt worrying about my knee and the ground. so once i thought i had the bike over enough i began to push my knee out a little, and a little more, and a little more! then SCRAPE! i touched down! right knee skimmed the ground and i could barely keep the excitment in! pathetic i know but i really wanted to do it! i parked up and took a look at my now 'used' knee slider and the back tyre. the chicken strips have completly gone on one side! i went round a few more times after that and did it some more but decided to call it a day as i didnt wanna test my luck. anyway, had a great few hours and it reminded me why i love biking so much. i really, REALLY love my daytona, it just feels sooo good! (again, a bit like sex). on the ride back i felt ssoo much more confident about the bikes leaning. i could take turns without worrying about the bike. i hear people say getting ur knee down ont he road slows ur down, and its probably true. but the side affects are far more confidence and i really feel like i know the bike more. any ideas on the left side now? lol. |
