Hi, as I'm getting a wee bit older now and can hardly **** my leg over the Sv650s K3 I was wondering if there was any way of lowing the whole bike by about an inch (perhaps 3/4 as an alternative) without going to the bother of new dogbones at the back
Thanks |

Is it that you can swing your leg over the rear seat as you get on? Or more getting your leg over the rider seat? As most lowering on the Sv is cut down rider seat, suspension dog bones on the rear linkage, or dropping the forks.. but only to a max of 15mm. The last 2 may change the handling of the bike so you nead to be carefull. Maybe if is the rear seat you could get some of the padding removed if you don't take alot of pasangers. Or change the cover for something more shinney and pledge it up, for that slick leg over. |

Yeah, its the rear seat thats the problem, I was thinking of getting rid of some of its padding, as its realy only my left boot that catches it getting on and off.
Mmmmm, I reckon that I'll give the lowing kit a miss as I dont want to b...s up the handling Thanks anyway |
