jsut a quickie, if you dont want to drill this to tap the crews into the mudguard how can you fix it on?
i was thinking araldite, is this a good idea? |

Wish I had thought of Araldite (though I was in a hurry).
I am considering drilling the holes out a little bigger and using the clips that hold the tail section together (those little black push together ones) |

What's the reason for not drilling the mudguard? It doesn't look that bad with screws on it.

I used araldite too. Hint, don;t just use one huge blob- much better to use a number of small ones. with one blob, if it starts to come off the whole lot will pull lose over time, but if you use smaller blobs, losing one blob won't necessarily make the others fail

I used Sikaflex 221; its a silicon based adhesive which stay flexible... Great stuff, you can get it from local motor aids shops etc (its used by the auto industry for attatching plastic bumpers etc

Cloggsy, does Sikaflex 221 cure instantly or do you get a bit of time to position the parts correctly ?
