Default Exhausts

Pictures and a few words

Couldn't see this under Tuning and tweaking, so I thought I would put a sticky and see how I got on. The undertray's one seems to be ok.
Exhausts, Basically stick a pix of your exhaust you have, how it sounds and how much it cost. This is open to anybody, not just Selkent.
I'll start
Here is a nice link for all the contact details for all the exhaust companies.

Mine is a Quill cost me about £100 of Ebay,
nice looking can and sounds pretty good,
not as nice as race ones, but nice price.
It is road legal.
And is an end can not a full system.

Custom one off renegade shotgun system(now in Carbon). Not a very deep sound, but deep enough to realise its a twin, turning to howl at higher revs. Cost shed loads, but is uniquie. Gives slightly better power curve compared to twin renes, but equal gain.

Si, please dont edit my posts, theres a good chap.

Hi guys, I was wondering as well as a piccy, sound and price info, would it be possible for you to add whether the systems are end cans or full systems, whether they are race, legal or half-and-half with removable baffles, and er, anything else useful like that?

I really like the idea of a sticky where all the exhaust info gets put, so thanks for starting it up!

Here's mine:

- Remus Revolution
- E stamped Road Legal but with Removable baffle (rivet needs to be drilled)
- around £240 (sorry can't remember exactly)
- Plenty loud with the baffle removed and still significantly better than the stock exhaust with it in place. Awesome on the overrun.

Ok heres mine :

Its an ART Carbon Oval End Can

Cost about £150 for the pipe new and about £35 for installation

As with any ART pipes sound is fantastic kind of a note all of its own but never fails to turn a few heads, get a few nice pops and crackles when coming down gears and using some engine braking.

Has no markings or stamps on it at all, so not sure if that makes it road legal lol, anyway ive never had any trouble with it.

The silencer mountings on this bike is what you will get now on a new set of Renegads. My bike below has some very early pipes, the guys at Renegade can't even remember using mouning plates on the footrest hangers. (live just up the road from Renegade)
They are loud have re-packed mine and richened the mixture to get rid of the crackle, but they still sound like a Wellington bomber on the overrun - Nice.
