Hey Guys,
Finnally after months and months and months if waiting my tom tom rider has finnally arrived, its feels solid, looks great, functionallity seems to be spot on.....BUT and a BIG BUT. the mounts provided wont fit anywhere on my 05 SV650S, the only way i could get it on was moving the clutch far left as posible and mounting it on half the gap needed to mount it then screw it on tight as posible, my main concern its going to fall off at 70mph+ and there goes £600, im going to get the hacksaw out and cut the mounts to fit the bike, but just thought id let you guys know Cheers Ben] |

you may have to fashion something to do it, but I think you'll find a way to attach it to the bolt cover on the yoke.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm,
and there was me talking the wife round to letting me go for this! Thanks for the heads up, might be worth investing in a third party bracket by the sounds of it! Cheers mate! Rich P.S. Any chance of some pics? |

I bought a Garmin Quest and a Ram Mount and had similar problems.
I managed to clamp the Ram Mount onto the central fairing bracket which worked out nice as the Garmin is tucked nicely into the screen. It does hide the Tacho but I don't pay too much attention to that anyway as the bike is rarely used hard. I did include a picture on another post. |

ram mount can be attached to almost anything with a bit of thought and are very sturdy, my mio168 sits works really well with one.
there probaly the way to go, very functional but a little pricy for what they are - i may have just got ripped off though ![]() |

Ram mount + Suzuki = attach it to the ignition lock, the v-shaped mounting plates sit very neatly on the front of the ignition unit. Put a jubilee clip around the back of the lock and bob's your uncle. Nice central location and out of sight when removed.
