Here are some minitwin racing pics from brakingzone.com, not only are they cool shots of SVs being spanked
![]() http://www.brakingzone.com/BZ_shop.a...e=_B2P9896.jpg http://www.brakingzone.com/BZ_shop.a...e=_B2P9907.jpg Are they GSXR fiarings?! How hard are they to make fit? Has anyone fitted one to a road bike? (or even a racebike). |

Hi we use the GSXR1000K5 fairing on our race SV650's:
![]() The 2nd bike in your picture uses a sharkskin copy fairing. To fit the GSXR1000K5 fairing it can be done using the std clock bracket but you have to remove the plastic infill trim. It also needs new mounting brackets which are tapped into the frame rail. To mount the seat unit off the K5 you have to use an aftermarket lightweight subframe. But that subframe uses the std undertray etc. If you want some more info drop me a pm. The bikes are in Leatherhead in our workshop, if your local your welcome to come and have a nose. |

Cool, thanks for the responses/pics. I notice they are the 'pointy' SVs I have a curvy, does that make any difference to fairings avaialbe to me/fitting??
Basically I am thinking about getting a bellypan or lowers for my 'curvy' SV650S, but have not seen an example I am happy with yet. Some of the fully faired minitwins look tastey and are fitted with fairings that are blatently from different bikes, I was wondering if this was another route. Being a road bike, I'd obviously have to bear in mind light fitting etc. |

I give you: Rivvited's bike. Curvy SV, Ken Glenn SVR6 fairing, and some obsession
![]() Only photo I can find of it just now, but it's gorgeous. The headlight doesn't quite fit, but other than that it looks almost stock.
