I know a lot of us think we can run this country better than the current lot, including myself.
If you ever want to have a go at prooving it I highly recommend this game

You pick a country (i've been playing the UK of course) and just run it, make policies, set investment levels, decide on crime and punishment,economy rules and regs, etc etc etc and see how people like it

I fully expected to go in and make a pigs ear of it but I had a laugh and actually did really well

Well...apart from the religious nuts trying to assasinate me at one point....and motorists throwing eggs at me for 20 years.....
It's weird but I ended up doing things I didn't expect to keep things running though.

So far I've served 4x 5 year terms with a 76,97,90,68% vote

Rofl hardly.
I stuck to my guns on a lot of things.
I had to give a little to the religious community because I was ignoring them so much.
I wasn't nearly as leniant on the motorists as I though I'd be.

It went so well after the first 15 years that I experimented with legalising Canabis and Prostitution to raise GDP and it was a nice economic boost.
Not sure I'd do the same in real life of course but the way my country was going it seemed like the next thing to do

I'm still really struggling with the issue of legalising guns or not

I've not found the goto war with the frogs button yet but I'm sure someone will have a mod out soon
