Default 2 years free servicing ?

a question re 2 year free servicing , the best deal on new bike is 100 miles a way.
Obviously don't want to do 200 miles for each service.
Spoke to Suzuki re this & said that I would need to call a local suzuki dealer to see if they would be prepared to take the servicing on ......
I thought any Suzuki dealer should service the bike ?

Cheers Steve

I think you'll find that any Suzuki dealer should do under warranty work, but im not so sure about work like that because i suppose Suzuki will only pay a minimal ammount toward the servicing.
I could well be wrong though.

Yup its on the GSF range, GSX1400, GS500 range and SV range.

When you get your bike suzuki will send you a voucher book for the first three services (it covers 1st, 2nd and 3rd service). You can then go to any suzuki dealer and redeem the voucher with them and they will claim for the costs back through the warranty system.

Although if we are being paid at warranty rate for the labour its great for suzuki and the customer but not for us!

Ah. Be interesting to see how peeps get on with that as the dealer must be on a very restricted budget as Suzuki set the prices/time taken - will everything get done as it should do? Quite possibly not methinks .

If you do a lot of mileage... 2 years free servicing is worth a lot of money! If you do 15,000 miles a year - and expect a minor service to be £100, a major service to be £200, and valve clearances to be £300 - all conservative estimates - then it's probably worth about £1500!

It only covers the first 3 services within a 2 year period.

This is what it says:

2 years free servicing on selected models - this offer is extended to the first three services (600m/2mths - 4000m/12mths - 8000m/24mths whichever is sooner).

Covers engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, filters (oil, air and fuel) and labour.

Offer is non transferable.

Can be redeemed at any authorised suzuki dealer in the UK and northern ireland.

Promotion dates: 9th Jan - 31st March - bikes must be registered within this period.

Ideal for the bandit as the 3rd service is valve clearances.
