Cheers for the advise, am looking at fully fairing the bike due to the lovely weather we get up this neck of the woods, is it better to get it done through the dealer when buying the bikke or do it aftermarket?

Hi.The first advice is fit some crash bungs before you need them.

Hi there cumfy, welcome aboard. Another Highlander for the clan.
![]() I'd back up madmal's comments 100%. The SV is not too intimidating for newbies but you'll not get bored of it either. As you'll hear a lot....it's a fun bike. Unless you're planning on doing lots of rural runs you can get by without the full fairing no probs. It's not a bike that is plagued by electrical problems in the rain so as long as you keep the looks in check, maybe get one without lowers first and add them later if you feel it's required. Just my tuppence worth. |
