Default Nothing better to do on a winters night......

Since taking the bike in over the chilly season (read: he fell off...again) I decided it was time to get serious with the modding.
Here's the result of a few months without riding.
I was going to list it all, but i can't remember where i started.

Here ya go. Some shots are 'in progress'.

Still got headrace bearings, new conti attack front, suspension setup, wiring tidy-up and paintjob etc. to do, but mostly done for now. I'll put the spanners away shall I?

It's certainly different I like the clock mounting, very clever that. Didn't like the lights on first glance but they're growing on me... Should look ace with the cables tidied up. Want to see it in the flesh now...

Default Wiring

How did you hide all that wiring, was it a naked to start with? I just stripped mine down (faired) and there are loads of wires to hide.

Looks good...

I just remembered, there's a big Yamaha naked- FJR1300?- around here with one of the roud lamps on top, and 2 wee HID projectors underneath with what look like billet casings. Must have cost a fortune but it's fantastic. Looks a lot like Haggis's, only bigger- but then, that's a far bigger bike, i doubt an SV would wear it well.

The mud guard seems to be non naked anyway, so I would guess didnt start out life naked

I like those lights. I am less fond of the clocks. It reminds me of the ikle computer on my road racing bikes. I think I find it easier to read analogue dials.

The only thing is, I keep looking at that corrosion on the bottom RHS of the yoke. Give that a bit of clean and I will be happy.

Doh. Foiled again. I just thought that since it didnt look like mine, it was off a faired bike.
TY Northy. Then I am guessing it did start off life naked. Ha ha.

Not sure. I'd guess from the radiator and the naked master cylinder that it did... But then again, haggis has binned it a couple of times
