Default Windy Nah!

I had rather a 'blown' about journey home last night... at one point I could have sworn the front end came off the ground. Now I know that it probably didn't really happen and was probably just the front getting 'light' but I was shocked it was caused by a gust of wind.
Anyone else have the same problem? It was on the A3 near Liphook.

It was windy on my ride home to, it's very open across parts of salisbury plain and the front end was very light, a bit un-nerving at times.

I've never been blown off while riding.

Ok ok I'll get my coat!

This morning coming into Uxbridge was very windy. The cross winds kept hitting me as I was leaning the bike over making it quite 'intersting'.

I think at one point I was riding sat over to the right to keep the bike balanced.

Got blown into the side of a bus once - going along the Albert Embankment in London, went past a big building and the windsheer literally shoved me into the side of the bus - luckily I stuck my knee & elbow out & took most of the force

At the moment it seems very windy. Rode down the M23 last weekend. Usually love that small stretch between where the M23 starts and where the M25 joins, but it was so windy I nearly s**t myself!

try the M11 on the way back and forth from Cambridge to London.....a lot of open fields with no fences and as far as the eye can see.......needless to say i was buffered around a bit and the poor pillion was bicking it too! In germany if i remember there are very few stretches of Autobahn with out embankments to shielding from the wind and noise for local residents.......am i right on this chaps? if so we should follow the example!

Most of the roads I'm on don't have a M classification do don't get much 'shielding'.

Default Wind

Funny, my rear end blew up in the air last night, think it was the curry though!..
...I'll get my coat too.

I'm at the top end of the A3 SW London/Surrey border, did notice a bit of wind.

Last year made the mistake at some traffic lights of leaning in to a gust then when it eased I started to go over, near rolled but only just saved it.

Looked like a right pratt!
