erm im not a hundred % but they were about 5-7 miles from ashford on the rignt (i was coming from maidstone) went up a hill and they were at the bottom of the next sweeping right, easy to see but they would have got me with the gun, its so easy to go over the limit on that road it makes u go fast !

Hmmm think I know where that was - past Harrietsham or Charing though? Theres a couple of places that could be on that run.

Nice to know theyre about, I tend to be a bit fast on that road.

Ah those bends... towards Charing. Must remember that cos I tend to be overtaking a lot down that stretch and not hanging about.

reading this thread reminds me of a very similar incident that happended to me on A20 at Smeeth heading to Ashford a week or so ago around lunchtime'ish. I got plenty of warnings fortunately starting with a moped rider then several cars flashing me so I slowed down & 1/2 mile down road out of sight behind a parked lorry in a layby was with speed gun. I was chuckling in my helmet as I went past him at 30.
Moral is watch your speed as speed traps seem to be on top of things to do list for Ashford constabulary at moment

Ironically they are rarely on the M20 which is good because I really dont hang about on that route home.

Though I tend to stick under the ton - did spot an R6 rider that flew past me while I was doing 90ish get pulled up a month ago. Suspect hes got a few points to add to his licence.

Moral of the story: Never be the fastest thing on the motorway. Let someone else go find the police. If theyve suddenly slowed you know theyve found them.
