Read on the CSS website that eBike will discount your insurance if you add R&G crash bungs.
Just amended my policy and they took £16 pounds off! I know it's not a massive saving but still. I wasn't going to bother adding them until I read the article. Interestingly, R&Gs were the only crash bung recognised on the list IIRC. Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but I know there are quite a lot of R&G bung users who have insurance through eBike here. ![]() Thanks Luke |

Do you mean you have amended your policy and they have refunded £16 or it made a £16 discount on your quotation? |

Is there anyone as competitive as eBike at the moment?
Age 30, 10 yrs riding. 13 mods declared inc. power mods, suspension, exhaust, bodywork and more. Bike is garaged but no security devices, 2 old convictions (still have to declare until next year even though they're off my licence now ![]() I just got quoted a whopping £78. \ ![]() I'd like to haggle against one of those companies boasting "We'll beat your quote by £50" What's my chances? ![]() |

I've got to add that I've been more than a little dissappointed with their administration recently.
Too many errors on their part - one of which probably meant I was unknowingly uninsured for a short period. My quote is ok. £830 for SV and GSXR6, garaged, 2ncd, Iam etc. I'm going to obtain quotes from other companies now tbh. Not sure they'll be any better. i need to sell the SV first, I guess. Oh, and so as not to de-rail this thread, my R & G's made NO difference to my premium. Increase in NCD incurred a RISE in my premium. This was apparently due to a "general rate increase" which offset the reduction that would have resulted due to my NCD... As said before, it's not for everyone, I guess. JG |
