28k on clock in 18 months - SV650.org

HI all,

I've just be reading thorugh some of the old threads. This was after a little bit of a panic, as I thought my insurance was due. I then phoned MC direct and found it doesn't until later this year - fantastic!

Anyway, going through my threads from 2005 I noticed that I had 87 miles on the clock on the 12th Jan 05. I now have 28k odd on the clock today.

Not bad I thought, although I am on engine number 2.

Thought I would have had more on the Bloue cow by now. Still good going though.

I saw a W reg SV650S onebay about 3 or 4 months agot that had well over 70k on it. It sold for £860.

I took delivery of mine on 11 Oct 2004 and hit 22k on 24 Sep 2005. I'm just shy of 25k now, but during the past year I've been at uni, so hardly used the bike.

edit: oh, and I'm on engine no. 1
