Has anyone had any dealings with H & R Insurance before?
My policy is due for renewal and Bennetts have quoted me £803 TPFT on a 2004 SVS ![]() ![]() ![]() So I went to e-bike and comprehensive with H&R is £485 (with 1yr NCD) Just like to know if anyone's used these guys and has any +tives or -tives. TIA Jo |

Having just got off the phone, it wasn't ebike (or The Bike Insurer, as they're called now) who phoned, but a broker called A Quote Insurance (who obviously get a prompt when you use the e-bike site).
Anyway, they've found me a comprehensive policy with Norwich Union for £446 with only a £175 excess. Amazing that NU are my current underwiter, yet Bennetts quoted £350 more for a lower grade of policy ![]() Anyway, paperwork is on its way to me, and I'm relieved of the insurance stress for another year.....or at least until October when my car policy is due ![]() Jo |

With them at the moment £472 fully comp 31 years old 1st year of having full licence.
Have just reported theft so will let you know how it goes if you're still interested. They seemed okay on the phone and said they had to wait 14 days to see if the bike will be recovered but said it would be fairly quick and straight forward after that. we'll see... |

Iv been using them for the past 5years and have had nothing but praise for them. In fact I just renewed last week and after a bit of a phone around I got it down to £580 5years ncb 3 points living in SE London and being 29, which I think is very reasonable considering I ride a zx10.

Yes, I have, had an accident while covered under them, was in the end my fault, and they have not contacted me since last September about it, so hopefully they have forgotton about the excess...
