Hey all,
I'm looking to swap out the stock bars on my naked K1 for a set of clip-ons (want a little more sporty feel). Wondering if it's a fairly straight forward deal or if the top yoke or anything else needs to change. Also looking for a source for a set of clip ons either new or used. Thanks for any help on this. -Ashton |

Firstly click on this link. This fella is selling just what your after.
The You do not have to change the top yoke. You can simply take off the risers and handlebars. You will however then have extra holes. I'm sure you could get them covered up using a nice top yoke cover for an s though. All the control cables are going to be fair bit longer so you may have to change some of them such as throttle cables and choke cable. I've often thought about doing this little mod myself, but actually I'm an old knacker and quite like the more comfortable riding postion the naked gives you, plus it's far easier to filter with highbars. |
