Default Genuine Suzuki Engine Bars Testimonial

Hi,
Thought I'd put a quick message up to say how good the suzuki crash bars are on my unfaired k6 (3 months old). Yesterday morning I hit a patch of oil on a corner at about 40mph and went down. While I broke clutch lever/gearlever and scuffed a few other bits, not a single bit of paintwork was damaged on the tank, tail or engine. The LHS crashbar is very worn but it's done it's job. I'll definately buy another when I can afford it.
Rgds

Andy

i take it they aren't the same as the faired crash bungs, which at least on the k3 look pretty useless - they're mounted on a piece of metal that sticks out at an angle, so it's just set up to bend the minute it hits anything!

Default Suzuki Crash bars

I have these my new SV650 N K6. I glad to hear they worked as a friend went down on diesel at a junction and mashed the radiator on his SV (£350).

I have had two minor spills on my K3 and in both ocasions the engine and bodywork has been fine, bar end, leavers, cans and bars are another matter though. Also my tank did get a small dent when the bars bent.

I have the R&G ones on as the Suzuki ones seemed more expensive

Luckily I haven't tested them
