I shall be - only a short (ish) ride though - should be at The Cabin in Burnham for about 9:00 - 9:30 - then intend to play around the roads nearby (Latchingdon, Maldon etc)

Only just got home. Went on the RAT run this morning. Had a long but very very brilliant day Started at Triumph in Chigwell at 09h00 this morning. Headed out via Ongar toward Maldon, down the A414 to chelmsford. A12 to Hatfield Peveral(?) then on to east mersea where we stopped for a cuppa and a mars bar. Then out to colchester via b-roads and then across toward sudbury but heading past hedingham castle and then on to the dealers house(well, the paddock next to his house) where he had laid on a free burger van, mechanical bull, t-shirt stall and some adult bouncy castle thing as well as a fleet of triumphs and saabs to have a look at.

A really good day and a really nice ride. 86 or so bikes in total

Was going to post about this!

I was with you for part of your journey! Did my usual solo run - Ride out through Brentwood to Ongar down the 414 and back round past Dunmow and back through the Rodings / Fyfield. Got to Ongar and suddenly I'm surrounded by 50 odd bikes all following me. Bloody cheek! Ducked off the a12 at Boreham to see if anyone was there (my internet has packed up at home) and was surrounded by some Harley club. The run home from there was more peaceful.

Ta Lorna...
I had a lovely day. Except for a brown trouser moment between Black Notley and Witham on my way back...nearly binned the bike on a bend. Not sure if anyone knows the area but about halfway to Witham there is a bend that is signed as a left hander but starts off as a sharp right hander going slightly uphil then sharply left and downhill... I think there is a pub around there as well Anywaay, went into the right hander but overshot the left hander a bit, locked up the back wheel and ended up in the opposite carriageway...didn't know you could lock up the back wheel on a triumph... I wasn't going very fast either...must've only been doing about 40mph. Then entering into Witham, some chav in a red nova overtook on a blind lefthanderand nearly took me out. Last bloody time I go to
Witham
