And will be taking it to Lydden on the 5th Aug

Looks cool. It only comes with a 32Mb SD card though, which might not hold a lot of video. I'm shocked by their price of £50 for a 1Gb card. Amazon have them for £11.

Excellent!

I'll be interested to see what the quality is like.

My local computer shop does a 1gb for £20, I had factored that in on purchase. With the 32mb it is only good for 1min on full res. The 1gb therefore should see me about 1/2 hour of footage. Trackday sessions are normally a max of 20mins, so that is ample. I can upload to a laptop between sessions, or lets face it, at £20 (or 11) a hit a few cards are far from going to break the bank!!

Squirrel - 640 by 480 15frames per sec should give some good results, at the end of the day to keep file sizes humane (even after compression) you are probably going to be reducing it to less than that anyhow!

No, that is pure coincidence I found that website a little messy, I am not 100% sure what you have, do you have an ATC-1000 or a variant on that theme?

I’ll d/l the vid and have a view now

Theres a little version too..

but doesn't have the same quality...
Resolution: Normally 320 x 240 but this increases to 640 x 480 when attached to a PC

where as the other one is:

- Three resolutions at 15 fps: 640 x 480 (default), 320 x 240 or 160 x 120

Oh and can I burrow it? I'd like to see what its like before I by as i was looking at them...

Someone I know has just bought one of these. If you have a mate in the US you can pick them up for £50, cheapest I've seem them over here is just over £80.00

The Gadget show did a test on this and a couple of others a while back

Worth a read if you like this type of thing. Looks like a cool toy.

No, I've got a bulletcam from www.rf-concepts.co.uk and a Sony DV camcorder with A/V-in to do the recording.
