I don't really have the confidence to take a saw to my standard exhaust. As a result I am thinking of getting one fitted properly. I am keen on a renegade and have been quoted £225 for them to do the work for me (slip on low level stainless steel).
Does anyone know of any cheaper options to get it fitted properly ? Should I buy a slip on low level and then take it to a Suzuki dealer to fit ? h |

I'm in London and I go to James for everything, without sounding funny, Jmaes and his team are the ONLY Experts in the UK. What they don't know about the SV's isn't worth knowing about.
You could try any back street place to do the work, as long as you have the insructions then they'll do it. |

Any garage will do it, and it shouldn't be more than half hours labour, an hour tops. It just depends who you trust with your bike and a big angle grinder some garages might not take as much care as others. I got mine fitted at the dealer i bought my bike from as that was easiest on a brand new bike.

Over to the 650 guys for this, I'm sure there is an exhasut thread here somewhere.
I had an Akroprovic on my curvy 650, it was LOTS more than £200. |

Lots of the SV1000 guys have got these and they seem to be within your (low) budget.

I have a Remus myself, which i love but it was a bit more than £200, but it is a high level titanium so not sure what a low level stainless would cost you. Very good, well made exhaust.
There was a thread about Fuel exhaust a litttle while ago i think they seem to have some good comments about price and quality. Loads of different ones out there, but at the end of the day find one you like the look of and thats at a price your happy with and stick with it, cos i guarentee every single person has a different view and thinks there particular brand of exhaust is the best. Ebays as good a place as any to start looking, particularily from the big ebay sellers rather than the individuals. Happy hunting ![]() |

As SV1000s suggests have a look at fuel. also Carbon Can Company or a Quill might be more in your price range.
