Default Oi M.Ockx !!

With reference to your recent thread regarding Jensen Button

in particular your quote ". . . The man - correction: child - is an overpaid moaning t*sser who can't race"

Hope you like Humble Pie my friend !!

An absolutley BRILLIANT drive by JB this afternoon from 14th on the grid to win the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Yes, he had some luck as well with Alonso failing to finish - but that's racing for you !!

If only ALL Grand Prix could be raced in wet conditions 'cos this afternoon was great to watch - especially as the Hungaroring is normally one of the most boring tracks for F1 as there's only usually 1 overtaking point.

Oh Super..You dissapoint me! I really wondered how much Jenson would be hailed as a Rossi-esque God due to him starting 14th and finishing first!

113 attempts before winning hey? The fact that this was more by default than anything else dont bother you? The most superb driving today was by Alonso, the way he not only overtook but lapped Schumi! To keep driving off the race line a la Mansell to make his tyres last was great! For a drive shaft to bust on him was just so injust!

BTW...What the f*ck was that idiot kimi doing?

But I must admit golden tonsils...I normally cannot watch F1 beyond the first couple of laps, but I really enjoyed that today.

What about JB overtaking The Cobbler then ?

Don't forget, JB was in 2nd place anyway when Alonso went out (and catching him at 2 seconds per lap as well !!.

As for the 113 starts & 1 victory - no argument - other than he's NEVER been in the best car on the grid unlike certain others who people rave about.

My main point was that he was well overdue for a win.

I must be honest,I havent watched one F1 race this year,I find it quite boring these days,so I cannot comment on the race, but if what PH said is true about Alonso's driving, well that shows sense!

I watched most of them last year, and was in Spain when Alonso was crowned Champion! It was great!

Super..I am only pulling yer leg. A win is a win after all. I just cant help thinking that he has enjoyed all the benefits of being a F1 driver and thus far delivered so little.

Kimi then...what was that all about????

According to Kimi (when interviewed by Lousie Goodman) it was "just one of those racing accidents" - he didn't expect Liuzzi to slow down at that point - but he didn't blame him for the accident in any way.

Liuzzi said that he got off the racing line to allow kimi to overtake - but, as he thought he wouldn't be able to complete the move before the next corner he backed off slightly.

Large slice of! I really do agree with you - he drove fabulously today - and was very gracious in his post-race comments too. I did fear he was becoming another Chris Amon (without the charm!) but hopefully with (as everyone else has said) "the monkey off his back", he'll go on to even greater things. My only slight doubt is whether he can drive around a problem - or just perform when everything is going good for him. We shall see, but today, a whacking big "well done" - he was awesome and deserved the win.

(Of course, he obviously read my scathing comments and that spurred him on. Let's see, who else can I inspire....what about that other great underachiever, Sete Gibernau?)

A very gracious reply Mr Ockx

But, don't get carried away with your 'powers of motivation' - I fear if you take THAT 2nd project on you will only end up extremely dissapointed !! :P

I'm looking forward to the papers tomorrow, jensens a hero and all that crap...

He's seriously overrated, like every bandwagon, he'll soon be forgotten again. but at least he's finally won a race
