Default any advice??

my bike was in for an mot today and while they were doing it it was pointed out i needed a set of rear pads ,so i said 'go ahead 'no prob there ,job done /passed mot/paid for it and rode home .after getting home i noticed 3 dents on the underside of the exhaust (ccc s/s oval ) ,i phoned the shop (main dealer btw ,not a back street garage)and was told ''our mechanics wouldnt do that'' now i know the pad pins were seized cos it say so on the bill ,poss hammer blows?as its right beside the caliper?im going tomo to see them but what if its total denial on their part ?what can i do? .my bike is very clean btw and i know for a fact that they werent there before as i polished the can on sat and the bike hasnt been on the road since then except riding it down for the mot.this could get messy

This has come up before and the unhelpful advice is you should of checked it before you took it away. Which is a horrible way to live - not trusting anyone even supposedly reputable dealers.
All i can say is good luck, start easy, i.e. don't lose your rag to start with and hopefully the fact that it's clean will help - are you a regular?

Hopefully someone will be along to confirm how likely it is based on work being done.

no stu,not a regular as such ,mainly cos i do most things myself .i do know 2 guys who work in the dealership quite well though ,1 in parts and 1 in sales but no mechanics .such a small job too and they mullered it ,i would normally do this myself but i knew the pins would b stuck and it was only a tenner for labour so gave the go ahead ,you live and learn

Bummer, I hate stuff like that.
I would suggest going back and insisting politely that they caused the damage. If they don't offer to make some compensation, I would just accept it and not go back to that dealer - life's just too short for anything else!
If you can't see it when you're actually riding the bike, let it go!
