i might have a small problem of my can saying "NOT FOR ROAD USE" on the side, i have a scorpion badge over it at the mo which the last owner super glued on, but it is starting to look like it is going to come off soon, and not only is it not a great idea to advertise to pc plod that my can is not legal, it will also look **** having all that excess glue on the can!!! i was wondering what the best way to put a new name plate over it is!!
i assume that i could try and find a solid plate (some kind of metal) and rivet it onto the can, but don’t really want to do this b4 asking for some advice in case there is some reason why this should not be done! I assume myself that is would be ok as i was looking at my mates yoshi can and the plate on that looks like it just has a couple of rivets affixing it!!!! Also does any1 know off the top of there head a good place to get a badge from, i know it wont be hard to find but to be honest i haven’t had the time to look yet!!! cheers guys!!! Jimmy. |

cheers for that m8,
it clears up the fact that i can use rivits but its not really the sort of thing ii am looking for, i am looking for a scorpion name plate, the sort of thing you would normally expect to see on the side of a can, but on mine it has been engraved into the can and has the "not for road use" engraved under it! so idealy want to cover all of that with a scorpian name plate!!!! I could reglue the one i have already but i just recon it is gona come straight off again!!!!! |

Get some wet and dry rub it out it. Job done. Those BSAU tags are worthless.
