Default Fitting a fender extender

My tip - DON'T use the 'super-strong' araldite stuff

I noticed at one point of my ride today that my fender extender isn't where it used to be. In fact, I've no idea where it is...

I'm a bit worried though, shouldn't I have noticed it falling off if it's done so while the bike was moving???

Suppose I'd better buy another, and use the screws to fit this one...

I used the screws on mine too.

I was a bit (only a bit!) concerned about taking a drill to my brand new shiny toy.

I took the front guard off to fit the extender because there was no way I had enough room to get the drill in to do the job accurately.

I used the superglue supplied with my scottoiler.

I had asked for peoples views on araldite on the forum and they had said it was OK, but I tried it after roughening both parts thoroughly and it wasnt strong enough, it just pinged off, I could pick the glue off with my fingernail.

I tried the superglue out on a corner of the fendaextenda first and it held strongly enough to snap the plastic instead of the bond, so I used it to fix the fendaextenda.
